This lacquer island from Aster Cucine gives a nod to traditional the Shaker style with a minimalist frame detail offset with reclaimed wooden drawers on the feature end. The back of the island has servo assisted reduced depth drawers and a hidden compartment with drop down access. The cooks zone has beautifully equipped pan and shallow drawers including handmade cutlery, pot and utensil inserts.

Our aim was to push boundaries in terms of colour, texture and materials and to build harmonious layers of detail into the design that would work without any individual layer overwhelming or dominating the whole. It features a sundried reclaimed fir breakfast bar, 20mm Nero Marquina worktops and a Wolf professional cook top with a Wolf down draft extractor.
